Join local fiber artist, Stacie Sanchez in this basic, introductory class where we will learn needle control and explore the properties of wool, silk and a variety of other fibers. We will challenge our inner muse to design a small doll using an armature that can be hung anywhere— as a tree ornament or from a rear view mirror. Working with wool, you can add essential oils directly to the ornament and use as an air freshener! After the workshop, you will have the skills and enough supplies to make another doll at home!
Stacie is a professional artist working mostly in the 3 mediums of paint, pyrography and wool fiber arts. Her home state of New Mexico manifests in her art through both imagery and the vibrant colors of the desert sky.
