Join local fiber artist, Stacie Sanchez in this basic introduction to wool felting class. We will learn needle control and explore the properties of wool, silk and a variety of other fibers. We will challenge our inner muse to design a hollow, 3-D sculpted pot to hold an air plant. Depending on the size of the pot you make in class, you may have extra wool to take home!
Stacie is a professional artist working mostly in the 3 mediums of paint, pyrography and wool fiber arts. Her home state of New Mexico manifests in her art through both imagery and the vibrant colors of the desert sky.
