Collage vs. Image Transfer: Comparing Two All-time Favorite Mixed Media Methods

THIS CLASS IS FULL. Collage and image transfer are growing in popularity with art students, professionals and collectors, and for good reason. Each technique has many strengths and minimal drawbacks…and where one falls short the other steps in. So learning more about both methods is an excellent strategy for those looking to expand their creative tool kit.

In this three hour workshop, we will explore various ways and reasons to use collage and image transfer. Included are demos, step-by-step instructions, Q & A, show and tell, and lots of time for practicing the techniques. This is a process oriented class, meaning we will focus on learning how to use the materials more than creating fully developed artwork, though some of your “trials” could end up ready for framing!

Cost: $45
