Elementary Class w/Annie

Students in Annie’s elementary art class will explore foundational techniques through thoughtfully composed projects that balance skill-building with open-ended creativity; they’ll be introduced to clear artistic concepts—such as color mixing, pattern, texture, or composition—with guided demonstrations and step-by-step activities that allow students to practice new methods while making meaningful, age-appropriate artwork. Projects are designed to be achievable yet layered, offering extensions for different skill levels and encouraging problem-solving, collaborative discussion, and personal expression. Materials are chosen for safety and tactile engagement, and lessons incorporate simple art history or cultural context to inspire ideas.
